VPIS for M.V. cubicles (switchgear)
DXN series of voltage presence indicating system (VPIS) indicates the voltage presence on M.V. cubicles by being installed on the capacitive dividers.

 

 

The live voltage indicator (POTENTIAL INDICATOR) can also output interlocking signal to the electromagnetic lock to automatically lock up the switch handle for preventing mis-operation or locking out people from entering into the charged areas.

Signal Input L3 HV Phase L3, the input terminal for coupling signals

L1 HV Phase L1, the input terminal for coupling signals
Interlocking Signals Output NC Normally- closed contact for interlocking signals output. When the phase is live voltage present:
the block lamp will light up
NO and COM will be disconnected;
NC and COM will be connected.

When the phase is live voltage absent:
the block lamp will black out
NO and COM will be connected;
NC and COM will be disconnected.

COM Common contact for interlocking signals output.
NO Normally- open contact for interlocking signals output.
